IS THE INTERNATIONAL MASTER'S DEGREE RECOGNIZED BY THE BOLOGNA AGREEMENT?
Yes, our Master’s degree are recognized by the European Framework of Education and for one academic year the Rome Business School certifies the amount of learning hours equivalent to 60 ECTS credits.
HOW IS THE MARCH INTAKE DIFFERENT FROM THE OCTOBER INTAKE?
The programmes are designed to deliver exactly the same objectives and contents, meaning it’s the same programme for both intakes.
I DO NOT HAVE A DEGREE. CAN I STILL APPLY?
All students who enter the Rome Business School are required to have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent. However, students profiles can be considered eligible for some of the programmes in case of relevant professional experience.
DO MASTER'S DEGREE STUDENTS NEED TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH?
Yes. All students need to be fluent in English. If English is not their first language, they will need to prove their fluency unless:
- their undergraduate degree (minimum two years) was conducted majorly in English, or
- they have lived in an English-speaking country for at least two years.
HOW WILL MY APPLICATION BE EVALUATED?
Each application received is reviewed in depth by the Admissions Team and Committee. When selecting students, we put an emphasis on their future potential, strong academic ability, and personal qualities and characteristics.
HOW DO I ADD NEW INFORMATION IF I HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION?
Once the application has been submitted, the Admissions Team and Committee are unable to accept application updates other than contact updates. If invited to the interview, applicants may inform the Admissions Team of updates at that time.
HOW LONG WILL THE ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE NEED TO REVIEW MY APPLICATION?
Once you submit your online application, we will try to get back to you in 3 working-days or 1 week after the first revision/evaluation. We will let you know if any documents are pending, or if we feel your profile is aligned to what we are looking for we will invite you to a Selection Interview.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE TO APPLY?
Given the limited number of places in the program and the time needed for visas and securing financing, it is highly recommended that you apply approximately 2-3 months prior to staring period of the programme.
IF I’M NOT GRANTED ADMISSION CAN I REAPPLY FOR THE FOLLOWING INTAKE? DO I GET FEEDBACK ABOUT MY DENIED APPLICATION?
If the Admissions Committee feels you do not meet the qualification we are looking for, then you will directly be denied admission to the programme. Should this occur, you will only be eligible to reapply after the intake you apply to has elapsed. Due to the large number of applications we receive, we will not give specific feedback or reasons if you are not admitted to the program.
HOW LONG IS MY ADMISSION VALID FOR? IS MY ADMISSION VALID ONLY FOR THE INTAKE I’M APPLYING TO?
Your admission will be valid for 2 intakes: the intake you apply to and the following. Please take into account that places are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, therefore meeting your Enrollment Process deadline is highly recommended in order to ensure a seat in your preferred intake.
WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT AN INVITATION FOR AN INTERVIEW?
If your application is positively evaluated, you will be invited to participate in the Selection Interview. Invitations to interview are a positive indicator no matter when you receive them.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FOR MY INTERVIEW?
Your interview will last approximately 30 minutes and will be conducted by a member of the Office Admissions. Interviews may take place in-person, via Skype, or via Phone call.
HOW CAN I BEST PREPARE?
The purpose of the interview is to better understand you as a candidate for our programme. We encourage candidates to relax and be ready to talk about themselves. There is no set list of questions that interviewers are required to ask, and each interview will be unique. Prior to the interview, applicants may want to think about questions to ask the interviewer. Remember that one of the goals of the interview is to help you get to know Rome Business School and our programme better.
HOW LONG WILL THE ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE NEED TO REVIEW MY APPLICATION?
Once the interview is completed and all your documentation is submitted the Admissions Committee will get back to you with a final decision between 2-5 working-days. Please bear in mind that over holiday periods this time frame could be longer.
IS THE DECISION ON FINANCIAL AID/PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP THE SAME AS THE ADMISSIONS DECISION?
No, but similar. Rome Business School awards Scholarships based on merit, distinctive competencies and academic excellence.
WHEN CAN I APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP?
You can start your Scholarship application as soon as you start your admissions process. You can submit your applications at the same time, and you will receive the final outcome for both applications at the same time.
IS THERE A LIMIT TO THE PARTIAL SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT GRANTED?
Yes, the maximum amount of scholarship will be 30% of total tuition fees. We recommend that students in need of substantial assistance supplement with a combination of Rome Business School’s Financial Aid, external scholarships, and/or loans.

WHAT ARE THE EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE?
Rome Business School is home to students from over 140 countries around the world. We offer various extracurricular activities (such as language courses, company visits, social activities, cultural tour, to name a few) scheduled throughout the year.
WHAT ARE MY TRANSPORTATION OPTIONS?
The Rome Business School campus located near the heart of Rome and is accessible via either car or public transportation. It is not necessary to own a car while living in the center of Rome area because of the convenient subway and bus systems.
DO YOU HAVE THE ON-CAMPUS ACCOMMODATION?
No. However, Rome Business School is always ready to support students in finding the right accommodation in Rome.
HOW WILL YOU HELP STUDENTS WITH ACCOMMODATION?
We assist students on finding their accommodations based on their own preferences and economic needs by:
- putting you in contact with the Rome Business School’s collaborators in charge of finding the preferred/personalized accommodation in Rome, or

WHAT ABOUT THE COSTS OF ACCOMMODATION?
Like in any other country, the cost of rent or buying your own place depends on where you want to live, size, and other details. In Rome, a double room in a shared apartment runs from 250 to 370 euros per month. A single room runs from 350 to 500 euro per month, whereas a studio flat (a room, a bathroom and a small kitchen corner) runs from 650 to 900 euro. In some case the expenses (electric light, gas, water) are included in the price.
Cost of living
HOW MUCH WILL COST ME TO LIVE IN ROME?
As a student you will have to pay for daily essentials such as food, socializing and clothing. The amount you spend will vary depending on your tastes and personal spending habits. In Rome, living costs can run from 300 euros per month (accommodation not included).
WILL INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS NEED A VISA?
Yes. Unless you are a national of the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, you may require a visa to study in Rome, Italy.
HOW CAN I BEST PREPARE FOR THE VISA APPLICATION?
Before you start your Visa application we strongly recommend you read the Italian Visas and Immigration guidelines. If you meet the criteria and apply with the right supporting documents in good time, your application will go smoothly.
DOES THE SCHOOL PROVIDE SUPPORT ON VISA APPLICATION?
Once students have completed the enrollment process at the Rome Business School. We will provide them with all the necessary supporting documents for their Student Visa application. But they have to go through the application process themselves.
CAN I WORK WHILE STUDY?
You are allowed to work up to 20 hours a week during your study.
