On July 28, 2018, the students in the Master of Business Administration of Rome Business School Nigeria attended an enjoyable company visit at Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, Nnewi Anambra State of Nigeria with the Factory Manager and Quality Control Manger.
Kingsley Ojukwu, Factory Manager of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company, led us on a guided tour of the Innoson vehicle manufacturing facility. He discussed many fine insights about the manufacturing processes and stages of Innoson Vehicles. The students took a pictorial tour of the facility and documented an abbreviated version of the vehicle manufacturing process.
The facility tour took further step into the Quality Control process which was handled by the Quality Control Manager. Quality control which is regarded as the last and most crucial stage of the production process involves checking for conformity with general and company standards like airbags, seat belts, rear view mirrors and also conforms to Innoson standards like making sure sensors and minor modifications work perfectly.
The company visit was concluded at Innoson Vehicle Showroom where all vehicles manufactured are displayed for sales.
After the company visit at Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Plant, our students spent a very interesting afternoon at the Palace of Igwe (King) Orizu III of Nnewi. During this visit, they learned more about the History of Nnewi Anambra, its cultural activities. Moreover, the students had a chance to interact with the palace secretary.
The visit was concluded by a tour of the best known Tourist Centre in Anambra known as Ogbunike Cave.
In all, this was a fun, educational and excellent company visit; many thanks to the participating students!
